    The varsity Lady Tigers continue to dominate the opposition this season as they enter the CIF playoffs with a 22-game win streak. Only dropping three games this season out of 25, they go undefeated in league play, going 12-0 as they prepared to go against Kerman (14-11) for the second time on Wednesday, May 17. This makes the Wasco Tigers first place in the Central Section South Sequoia League, placing them above schools such as Taft, Shafter, Chavez, Arvin, McFarland and Kennedy.     The Wasco Tigers beat the Shafter Generals 8-1 in an explosive match Tuesday afternoon. An outcome which was not unexpected if you take a look at the Tiger's previous matches this season. With an overall record of 13-6, and an interleague record of 4-2, the odds were on Wasco's side. Shutting them out 19-0, the Tigers now have an 8-2 overall record, and a 1-0 league record for the season, leaving the Cougars with 3-10 overall and 0-3 interleague, continuing McFarland’s losing streak.     Wasco High’s varsity baseball team hit the ground running this season with a 7-2 win rate as they enter league play. The varsity played their first game of the year against Morro Bay High School and won, 9-3. Next, the varsity team made quick work of Corcoran, 16-3, and Exeter, 10-2.     Wasco High Track attended its first meet on Feb. 25 at Liberty High and showed good promise for the rest of the season. “Track is not about wins and loses, it is about individual improvement. The team is currently 2-2 in the regular season, which is more wins than any other team in the South Sequoia league so far.
