    Hello Friends, meet our beautiful girl named Marylyn! Marylyn is a Red and White Golden retriever/Pit bull mix that is around 2 years old and weighs 52 pounds. In June of 2018, Marylyn came into the shelter when some children found her alone; hanging out at one of Shafter's local parks.     Linda Sharp was born to Betty and Thell (Ted) Adams in Los Angeles on June 10, 1954. She passed away at the home of her daughter, Jamie, on Dec. 20, 2018, surrounded by her family and loved ones, after fighting cancer for nine months. Linda was a lifelong resident of Shafter, where she met and married the love of her life, James Sharp, on Dec. 21, 1968. Together, they had three children, Audrea, Jamie and James (Jimbo).
