Open house at newspapers

The Shafter Press and Wasco Tribune will host an open house on Friday, Dec. 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the office, 406 Central Ave. in Shafter. A Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting is set for 2 p.m. All are invited to tour the facility and meet the editor, publisher and the rest of the staff. Light refreshments will be offered.
