Pet of the Week -- Dec. 20

Meet our handsome Ash! Ash is a pit bull who is guessed to be around 2 years old and weighs 58 pounds. This beautiful boy has done well at the shelter and is now available for adoption. Since his stay with us we have observed Ash to do well with other dogs. Ash has passed his SAFER dog evaluations and would be a great candidate for some training classes, where he can learn some basic commands and tricks.

Ash loves to go out on walks but due to his size we would recommend a strong handler. When it comes to toys, Ash likes them all! Large, small, soft, hard or squeaky, any type of toy is his favorite! This sweet boy would make a wonderful family dog or even a great watchdog to help watch over your home

We would love to see Ash adopted to an active family with a large yard and a tall fence to help keep him safe. Please come out to the Shafter Animal Shelter to meet Ash in person.
