The Mystery History photo from the prior week should have detailed the holiday decorations over Central Avenue and James Street. A better crop of the picture is presented here.
In last week's paper, the two History stories on potato harvesting and the telephone were provided by the Shafter Historical Society, and the copyright line was omitted. It should have read: "Copyright, Shafter Historical Society."
