Vicky Jacobs

Vicky Ann Jacobs was born in Delano on Oct. 21, 1956, to Elzie and Joan Grissom. She fought a 13-year battle with pulmonary fibrosis and passed away surrounded by her loving husband and children on April 16, 2019.

Vicky enjoyed cooking, baking and shopping, as well as spending time with her children, grandchildren, and little dog, Peanut.

Vicky joins in Heaven her parents, Elzie Lee Grissom and Joan Grissom (nee Montgomery); second husband, David A. Gonzales; and nephew, "Little Steve" Rill.

Vicky is survived by her husband, Mark Jacob; children, Daniel Webb and wife, Natasha Segura-Webb; Alicia Webb Uresti and husband, Christopher Uresti; and Rosemary Ceballos and husband, Jorge Ceballos. She also is survived by her sister, Alannah Rill and husband, Steve Rill, and brother, Ronald Grissom and wife Marguerite Grissom. She additionally has one surviving nephew, Ronald John Grissom, and two surviving nieces, Theresa Flaherty and Stephanie Rill. Vicky had seven biological grandchildren and 17 step-grandchildren that she cherished and loved every day.

We will miss Vicky's endearing laugh, spunkiness and her amazing culinary talent. We extend our deepest thanks to Hoffman Hospice, Carrington of Shafter and the Hoffman Hospice home staff, especially her caring and dedicated nurses, Bonnie and Juliette. Vicky was truly an amazing woman who touched the hearts of many people and all that met her.
