Give Big Kern Saturday

Give Big Kern, “One Day to Celebrate the Giving Spirit of Kern County!” is coming Tuesday, May 7. More than 100 organizations are fundraising through givebigkern.org, where the public can give to the nonprofit of their choice.

The minimum donation is $5. Get to know dozens of these local charities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday, May 4, at “Meet & Greet the Nonprofits Day” at the California Living Museum (CALM). Regular admission applies. Attendees can test drive a top-of-the-line Lincoln through Jim Burke Lincoln’s “Driven to Give” event at CALM’s upper parking lot. A test drive takes just two minutes and Jim Burke Lincoln will donate $20 per test drive to Give Big Kern.
