Pet of the Week - Sept. 26, 2019

Are you looking for someone to run with or play with? I am your girl. My name is Rose; I have been at the shelter since August. The shelter staff friends have listed me as an Australian kelpie that weighs about 40 pounds and approximately a year old. I have passed my SAFER test, and I am in search of my forever home.

I'm a happy, bouncy, curious, energetic and a friendly girl. I enjoy getting my belly rubbed. One thing about me is that I have never learned how to play with toys, and I need someone to teach me. Also, I'm curious towards cats, but the shelter staff recommends a watchful eye just in case. I am located at the Shafter Animal Shelter, 18849 S. Shafter Ave.

We are a municipal animal shelter that takes in more animals than we can possibly find homes for. Space is very limited, as are resources, so if you are interested, do not wait to inquire or it may be too late! Though we house all types of animals; we only post adoptable ones on our website.
