April 19

Gerardo De Jesus Mas, 21, was arrested for obstruction of a public officer and disorderly conduct: drug with alcohol.

April 18

Dirk Barton Underwood, 50, of Shafter, was arrested for obstruction of a public officer, disorderly conduct: alcohol, pedestrian walking outside of crosswalk and open container of alcohol in public.

April 16

Elizabeth Ann Gomez, 50, of Shafter, was arrested for DUI alcohol.

Johnny Lee Young, 42, of Shafer, was arrested for possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, burglary in the second degree, possession of burglarized tools and petty theft.

April 14

Sarah Metz Castillo, 37, of Shafter, was arrested for burglary in the second degree.

WASCO

As reported by the Kern County Sheriff’s Department, Wasco substation:

April 17

Heriberto Vidales Jr., 38, of Wasco, was arrested in the 400 block of Maple Avenue for stalking, contempt of court, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Anna DeLeon, 36, of Wasco, was arrested in the 900 block of Cedar Avenue for willful cruelty to a child. She was booked into the Kern County Jail.

April 19

Steven Cortez, 31, of Bakersfield, was arrested in the 900 block of 10th Place for carrying a concealed weapon in the vehicle, conspiracy, participation in a criminal street gang, possession of a controlled substance while armed, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Marcos Barrios, 23, of Wasco, was arrested in the 900 block of 10th Place for possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, conspiracy, participating in a criminal street gang, possession of a controlled substance while armed, prohibited person with ammunition, CCW criminal street gang, CCW in vehicle with prior felony conviction, prohibited person with loaded firearm, CCW with specific conviction and felon in possession of a firearm. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

BUTTONWILLOW

As reported by the Kern County Sheriff’s Department, Buttonwillow substation:

April 18

Israel Vargas, 25, of Lost Hills, was arrested in the 17000 block of Lost Hills Road in Lost Hills for assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily harm. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.
