Pet of the Week: Blair Needs a Home

Blair, an approximately 4-year-old Shepherd mix, came in as an owner surrender. She has a black, tan and fawn short coat.

Blair is timid toward staff and staff has been monitoring her. She is improving, but it is a slow process. Blair is great with other dogs and has been tested with small and large breeds.

At the time it is unknown if Blair is house/crate trained. Dogs are not tested with children and cats. She is available for rescue/adoption. If you are interested in her, give the shelter a call and staff will get a hold of you during hours of operation.

Everyone is welcome to adopt from our facility, we like to give the same opportunity to adopt. Adopters can be from out of town and/or local. All are more than welcome to call us to set an appointment to meet her and possibly adopt her that day. It is first call, first serve and appointments made by via email is not available.

Dogs are not adopted out naturally. All dogs will be neutered/spayed once adopted. Depending on the availability of our local vet, it is not a guarantee that the animal will be spayed/neutered the same day.

Rescue is a nonprofit organization with a tax exempt 501(c)(3). If you never pulled from the Wasco Animal Shelter, email us two references and a copy of your 501(c) (3) form.

If you have any questions, make sure to give the shelter a call at 661-758-7240.
