Gossamer Grove expands with new series

The Homestead Series by Lennar Homes is now available, as Lennar Homes invites prospective homebuyers to tour the houses through virtual tours, self-guided tours or personal tours by appointment.

The Gossamer Grove area of Shafter has been growing steadily, with new homes becoming available and prospective commercial areas ready for development.

Included in the plans for the future for the community are more parks, schools, retail stores and businesses, and a variety of locations with city services.

Already in the works is a plan to place a substation for the Shafter Police Department in the area, with more services to follow.

The Homestead Series joins the popular Skye Series, which is sold out, and the Chateaux Series as developments in the Gossamer Grove community. Homestead Series homes include plans ranging from 3 to 5 bedrooms with open concepts and Next-Gen layouts. Standard features include commercial-style kitchen appliances, white shaker cabinets and quartz countertops. Lennar's Everything's Included program includes a lineup of home automation technology, and the Wi-Fi Certified Home Design.

The community is home to two parks, an aviation-themed park, as well as a train-themed park, complete with a miniature train with tracks.

With the covid-19 pandemic in the forefront of residents' minds, the staff at Gossamer Grove have taken precautions in keeping their staff and customers safe and healthy.

They clean their welcome centers often, as well as conducting wellness checks on their associates daily.

There are several options for those concerned about the safety of them and their families. In the virtual tour, prospective homebuyers can view a high-quality 3D tour from their own home. They can also choose to take a self-guided tour. They will receive a secure access code when they schedule their tour, and can take a tour of the homes.

They can also opt to receive a personal, one-on-one tour with one of Lennar's new home consultants and get their questions answered in person.

The residents of Gossamer Grove who have children will be sending their children to the Norris School District in the grade schools and will be sending their kids to North High School as they enter the ninth grade. As the phases and developments expand, some of the residents will be in a different school district.
