Last updated 6/26/2021 at 6:21am | View PDF

Wasco will celebrate the Fourth of July with a fireworks show at Barker Park on Saturday, July 3 at sundown.

The event will be a party in the park with vendor booths selling food and celebratory items.

Attendees may bring their favorite lawn chair, pick out a spot and relax for an evening of fireworks.

The Recreation and Parks District will be coordinating this year’s show as the Orange Heart Foundation and the district will be working together on this year’s event.

The Orange Heart Foundation usually fundraises for the fireworks show; however because of the pandemic fundraising was not possible. The foundation asked the district to collaborate with them on this year’s fireworks show and the district will take over the show completely in 2022.

In order to continue raising money for the show, a lemonade stand is expected to be open prior to the event. Further information will be forthcoming.
