Student Spotlight: Ashley Angula Osorio

Ashely Angulo Osorio is a senior at Shafter High School. She has been involved in band since elementary school and is still an active member in the SHS Jazz Band playing mellophone, French horn, trumpet, and the alto saxophone.

Ashley is also involved in choir and has been a part of the girls wrestling team at Shafter High for three years.

For her future, she would like to study to be a therapist or a counselor. She feels that she has the right personality for the job.

She hopes to start her college career at Bakersfield College and then transfer elsewhere to finish her bachelors degree. When asked what advice she would give underclassmen, he said, "Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone."
