Party store opens new location in Wasco

Be it having some good candy, jumping in an inflatable, or partying with friends, Nancy Guardado is there to help you out.

Guardado just opened a Candy Land location in Wasco, joining the existing location in Shafter. Located near the Rite Aid store in Shafter, Guardado specializes in all kinds of candies, inflatables, party supplies, and pinatas, just about everything you would need to throw a great party.

Guardado said she gets her candies and the majority of her other supplies from Mexico and brings them back here to sell. Her collection of pinatas has something for everyone, no matter what kind you would want.

Guardado said they also rent inflatables, tables and chairs.

"The business has been great in Shafter, and we are excited to add this Wasco location to it," said Guardado.

The Wasco location is downtown on 7th Street. Guardado just had a pop up event held in front of her location in Wasco. The event was put on by Stephanie Cabrera, but Cabrera said that she was happy to have the event there to help out herself and Guardado.

"I get most of my candies that I coat from Candy Land," said Cabrera.

Guardado said the pinatas and candies are her best sellers, with the inflatables very popular as well.

"I love these towns and have been shown a lot of support by the communities," said Guardado.
