Shafter Animal Control

William is a gentle German who is looking for a good home.

Meet our handsome boy named William. William is a black and tan German shepherd mix who is guessed to be around 2 years old and weighs 50 pounds. If you are looking for a fun, active, playful dog, then he might just be the dog for you! William is very sweet and a social boy who does well when going out on walks. He has passed all of his Safer Dog Evaluation tests and is now available for adoption. We would love to see William adopted by a family who has a tall fenced-in yard to help keep him safe.

You can meet William at the Shafter Animal Shelter. For more information, visit the Shafter Animal Control website at shaftercritters.petfinder.com. Many questions that you may have about adopting from us are answered there. We cannot recommend any dog as "good with children," since there is no way to be certain that they are safe for children. The age of the animal is an estimation that has been based on the knowledge and training of the shelter staff. If you have any further questions, email [email protected] or call 661-746-2140.
