The City Council will consider an proclamation declaring an emergency at a special meeting Tuesday night.

On his first day as city manager yesterday, Gabriel Gonzalez prepared a draft declaration, which would give the city additional tools to act against the coronovirus pandemic, as well as pay for additional resources.

The council has a regular meeting scheduled tonight at at City Hall.
