Pastor's Corner: God's kingdom

In this time of uncertainties, pandemic, election year, social unrest, and financial difficulties one thing

we are sure of is that God is still on the throne and in control. We live in an earthly world, but we are

immigrants passing through till we can be with Him. We are citizens of God's Kingdom first (Matthew

6:33), God is the King, the constitution is the Bible, and the Holy Spirit is the Governor of The Kingdom. "Seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things will be added to you."

In this season I find myself at times looking at our surroundings and can see how we can be discouraged.

Our surroundings can invade our thoughts and emotions. I ask God "Lord what would you have me do

in this season, in this time what do you want us to learn?" His answers are found when we seek a

relationship with Him. We can look up to Him, above what we can see with our natural eyes. The Bible is

the King's word and has stood the test of time. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. King Jesus

has saved us before, and He will do it again. He is faithful when we are not.

The faith we have in Christ and His Kingdom goes beyond our thought, our ways, and reigns above all. As

Believers of Christ we pray "Lord let your will be done, on Earth as it is in heaven." So at this time we ask that His spirit heal us, heal our land, and our government. We need God's Kingdom influence in this time and season. When life looks too much to bare, let us remember that we belong to God's Kingdom.
