The students named are Dario Hernandez Lobato, Adrian Ramos Garcia, George Sanchez, Angelina Gutierrez, Alexis Martinez, Tye Enterline, Julissa Vieyra-Anguiano, Joselyn Valdovinos Moreno, Luciano Burnias, James Stewart, Azul Lozano Cortes, Luis Salgado-Reyes, Carlos Arreola-Cruz, Dereck Contreras, Susly Isales-Lepe, Valeria Sanchez, James McCarthy, Brady Shipley, Ashley Torres Romero, Lucian Siemens.
A select few students from Shafter High School have been named Students of the Month for April. The students received a certificate and a special lunch for the achievement. Principal Russell Shipley said that he is very proud of the young men and women for their great work ethic and performance.
