Sept. 25

Nancy Balderas, 37, of Shafter, was arrested in the 200 block of Faber Street for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant, imprisonment and obstruction.

Sept. 27

Rafael Chaidez, 38, of Shafter, was arrested on Central Valley Highway for giving a false ID.

Alejandra Yasenia Astorga, 28, of Shafter, was arrested in the 200 block of South Shafter Avenue for disorderly conduct and a drug violation.

Sept. 29

Vanessa Espinosa Oros, 37, of Shafter, was arrested in the 400 block of James Street on a bench warrant/failure to appear on felony charge.

Sept. 30

Cayetano Saldana Urias, 44, of Shafter, was arrested in the 300 block of Bree Drive for DUI: alcohol and stop required.

Oct. 1

Paulie Daniel Salazar, 25, of Shafter, was arrested at Birch Street and Marengo Avenue for disorderly conduct: alcohol.

Luis Castaneda, 27, of Shafter, was arrested on Santa Fe and Marengo Avenue for DUI: alcohol.

Oct. 2

Jordy Vargas, 22, of Shafter, was arrested in the 200 block of East Marengo for disorderly conduct: under the influence of a drug and drug violations.

Sept. 25

Efrain Cortez Martinez, 33, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1000 block of Highway 46 for misdemeanor disorderly conduct: under the influence of drugs. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Sept. 26

Mario Mora Cortes, 49, of Wasco, was arrested in the 800 block of Almond Court for felony threatening of a crime with intent to terrorize, false imprisonment, misdemeanor damage to a wireless device, cruelty to an elder dependent, and on a misdemeanor bench warrant. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Marcos Quintana, 32, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1700 block of Poplar Avenue for misdemeanor contempt of a court order. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Sept. 27

Matthew Sanchez, 33, of Wasco, was arrested in the 700 block of F Street on a felony bench warrant. He was cited and released at the scene.

Sept. 29

Elijah Gonzalez, 33, of Wasco, was arrested in the 2600 block of Spruce Avenue for felony possession of a firearm by a felon, prohibited from owning ammo, selling narcotics, transporting narcotics and misdemeanor willful cruelty to child. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Jorge Arturo Lozano, 36, of Wasco, was arrested in the 300 block of Highway 43 on a misdemeanor bench warrant. He was cited and released at the scene.

Adrian Oliva, 20, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1800 block of Broadway Street for felony attempted murder and conspiracy to commit a crime. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Bryan Ruelas, 19, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1200 block of Poplar for misdemeanor brandishing a false firearm in public. He was cited and released at the scene.

Angel Villa, 21, of Wasco, was arrested near the intersection of Broadway Street and Poso Drive for felony carrying a loaded stolen firearm, carrying a concealed weapon in vehicle and receiving known stolen property. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Sept. 30

Efrain Cortez Martinez, 33, of Wasco, was arrested in the 900 block of Poso Drive for misdemeanor disorderly conduct: drunk in public. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Jayro Naranio, 18, of Wasco was arrested near the intersection of Poso Avenue and Becks Street for misdemeanor driving without a license. He was cited and released at the scene.
