Marina Gonzalez Duck

Marina Gonzales Duck, age 58, passed away peacefully in San Diego on March 30, 2024. She married the love of her life, Bobby Duck, on March 3, 2024.

Marina was loved dearly by her parents, Longino Gonzales and Margie Gonzales. She had four siblings, Longino Gonzales, Jr. married to Sandra, Christina Smart married to Wesley, Peter Gonzales, and Andrea Hernandez married to Chon.

Marina was preceded in death by her father, Longino Gonzales; her brother Longino Gonzales, Jr. and her great niece Hope Gonzales.

She had many nieces and nephews who she loved as her own. Marina was a 1984 Shafter High School graduate, who also attended San Diego State University in San Diego.

Marina was an entrepreneur in life. She worked as a business professional in property management for 15 years. She was a Realtor and business owner, and worked in sales. She won many awards throughout her life and even made the cover of Property Management Magazine.

Marina loved her dogs and cats as if they were her children. Marina was very beautiful, charismatic, charming, giving, caring, a social butterfly, smart and faithful to God and always counted her blessings.

Marina had a smile that could light up a room. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, making people laugh and knew how to have fun in any situation with her family and friends. Her quote was, "What's the worst that can happen – that you have fun?"
