Vinson Callahan was arrested Saturday for weapons violations, including prohibited person possessing a firearm, ammunition and suspected fentanyl.
According to a press release from the Kern County Sheriff's Office, at about 10 a.m., Wasco and north area substations deputies were dispatched to the 1900 block of Gaston St., responding to a subject in possession of a firearm. Once there, they encountered Callahan.
