Aero came into the Wasco Animal Shelter as a stray. He is approximately 1 year old and is a medium coat Terrier mix. He has only been tested with small dogs. A Shafter police officer was involved in an accident while working on speed control near the Target Distribution Center Tuesday. The City Council reviewed a proposed increase in the city sanitation rate during a special meeting Feb. 8 which would bring the fee for residents from $28 per month in 2022 to $50 per month by 2026.
