    The Lady Generals softball team took on Arvin March 11, and they dominated the game, winning 23-3. Then, on March 13, the Generals took on McFarland, and they run ruled the Cougars by the 5th inning, winning by a final of 28-0.     This past week the Generals baseball team played in the Wasco Tournament. The Generals went 2-1 in a tournament with very good competition. They lost the first game by a very close contest by a score of 2-1. Then they picked it up the second game by beating Mcfarland, 5-2, which put them in the position to play for 3rd against rival Wasco.     The Shafter varsity basketball team took on Kennedy on Feb. 4 in a very intense game that the Generals ended up losing, 77-72. The next day they played rival Wasco in a win-or-go- home game, since the Generals had to have a .500 record to make the playoffs. The Generals came to play and beat the Tigers 61-41.
